Deutsch” seems to be an incomprehensible mess of grammar and words, a dungeon to catch foreigners and hold them hostage, whipping them with linguistic gadgets …

It is clear, to “mix” (well) with the Germans, you will have to make an effort, and we have good news: it is read as it is written (almost)! The language is preferably digested in two stages: learning the words and then the grammar. Unlike German, English has been so kind to facilitate our approach, although many German words resemble English, this alleviates the pain somewhat. It´s not as easy as taking an aspirin, but, surely, you will become a German talker sooner than later.

Three genres, four declensions, and never studying a noun without its article and plural, because memorizing it a posteriori is deadly. Without it, the correct use of nouns and adjectives is impossible, and therefore to form sentences. This is the only way to reach the final goal: speak German fluently and being able to live in Germany if you want to.

Anyway, German might be the language that let you know your capacity to learn new grammar structures and even if you can pronounce new sounds. Don´t be afraid to challenge your brain and trying new ways to express yourself. Surely, you will be surprised with a lot of words that fit perfectly with the daily routine of the germans.

It´s also important to be able to travel through Germany, a really nice country with lovely open minded people. Aside of this, gastronomy, culture, summer festivals and many other choices will help you to enjoy a lot of your trip. If you prefer it, you will be able to read the best plays in German as well as understanding better a different point of view about the world. The country has shown its strenght after two World Wars becoming a modern nation after many decades of political and economical problems.

If you want to speak a perfect German, we recommend you doing it in German waters, otherwise it would be like learning to swim out of water. This feeling has led us to dive into the network of more “liquid” resources, in which you will dive to soak up more of Goethe’s language. Of course, there are languages much more difficult to study than German, but German is useful for finding a good job.

However, you need to study and get ready to change the way that your brain works. Working in Germany is always an interesting way of developing your skills in a new country. Remember that the country is one of the most important ones in Europe thanks to its economy and the continous interest of investors from all over the world.

Start learning German as soon as possible. You are ready for it and you will reach your goal faster than you think. Face this challenge and you will realize that you can speak and write in German. Auf wiedersehen mein Freund!
